Dec 312012

2012 was such an amazing year! From heli-skiing in Canada to traveling Europe with my family. I am truly humbled and very thankful I have such wonderful parents, who supported me when times were rough.

My daughter graduated high school and she had her first semester at college. That was a transition: being 40 and empty-nester took some adjustment. I found out being busy is incredibly helpful when things are challenging. From working out to working my skills by trying new design or photo techniques, helped me. Oh yeah, I turned the big 4-0 this year too. It didn’t feel as dramatic as turning 30, as I am more comfortable with myself and life.

I also came back from retirement and raced two of the Mountain States Cup races, which the series won’t exist for 2013. I even laughed a little and had fun 🙂

I’m not sure what 2013 will hold, but I really enjoyed my time with 2012…

Cheers!
